It is important to always be pre-planning when setting health goals. Make sure you are scheduling your workouts ahead of time so you don’t make up excuses to not hit the gym. Get a planner so you can see exactly when you can fit time in for your workout.
Get your gym bag and meals ready the night before.
Pack up your gym bag and meals for the day the night before. It is so easy to run short on time in the morning before work so getting your gym bag ready and set aside and your food in your lunch box ready helps you to not make excuses to skip out on your healthy meal or the gym.
Have an accountability partner.
Have someone you can talk to and motivate you to keep working towards your goals. It is really hard to succeed and push through if you have no one cheering you on!
Meal prep for the week.
One of the hardest parts about trying to keep healthy is all the cooking. Taking one day out of the week to meal prep makes it much easier for you to stick with your plan and not find excuses to eat out or eat something quick. You don’t want to waste all that time you spent prepping and food!
Reward yourself for hitting health goals.
Setting up a reward system will help you keep motivated to keep going and not give up on your health goals because there is an end prize. Have your accountability partner keep track of the reward for you so you are not tempted to just give in. You can set up a reward for both big and small goals!
